Our Collaborative is composed of 7 faith communities in the Central West End of St. Louis, Missouri, and one community organization (those listed on the logo above, minus Therese of Divine Peace, which regrettably has resigned as a member congregation; we just haven’t had the artistic assistance to change the logo yet). We were founded in 2002, originally as an extension of the Metropolitan Congregations United (MCU). We have since become a separate grassroots organization, whose focus is on social justice issues in our local neighborhood.
In 2013 we partnered with the Kennsington Park Redevelopment Project to assist in work on their neighborhood north of Delmar, right next to our ‘holy ground’ work in the Central West End.
In 2017, we started the Micro-Lending Program, which loans small ($500 maximum) no-interest, 18 month amounts to residents in three North St. Louis zip codes.
Welcome to the Central West End
